I'm Riya, architect and interior designer. With eight years of professional experience in residential architecture and interiors, I founded Eden & Olive as an independent practice.

My architectural approach is rooted in climate responsiveness and site sensitivity. I draw from principles of critical regionalism, aiming to craft homes that are informed by local context— climate, light, vegetation, material and patterns of living— it is what guarantees a space that is beautiful, durable and most importantly, comfortable even after the years go by.

In interior design, I approach spaces as a balance between function and aesthetic clarity. Form is shaped through proportion, texture, and material honesty, with equal attention to present needs and how the space will evolve over time
